This Friday we joined the INCO crowd for Friday Footsteps and walked along the coast from Malia to Sisi.
The children learnt from a microbiologist and a Naturalist as they explored the flora and fauna of the location.
We saw an extreme example of coastal living where a fisherman had built a dwelling on an outcrop of rocks overlooking the sea. Purely made from recycled materials and clinging to the cliffs it was fascinating to see how the girls perceived the home
As always, the inter generational learning was amazing as retirees shared their knowledge and understanding of the world with the girls… patiently answering their questions and indulging them with time, attention and patience.
We have even been learnt the next Harry Potter book to read as a family, much to the girls’ delight.
