Flossy has really enjoyed learning to read and write. She flew through the levels 1-3 books we bought, and the books we had at home. We have had to use the Oxford Owl for additional reading material (this has been free during lockdown).
A huge benefit of the online book library is that we now know what level she is reading at 🙂
Running alongside her reading she has started spontaneously writing. Following in from the treasure hunt she made Flossy created an Emma Dodd inspired book.
A little book of love
The book was absolutely tiny and had writing and illustrations.
It said:
“Love is everywhere, even in the sky. Love is ready to hold you. Friends like to say yes.”
Just Lovely!
Apparently there is a series of them so look out for further installments.
