What a rollercoaster ride!
First, she was excited her tooth was wobbly.
Then she was distraught that her tooth was going to fall out.
Then she didn’t want to grow up and wanted to be six again.
Then her tooth fell out.
It was placed in a precious little jar and cleaned each night with a toothbrush.
Then, her other tooth fell out!
The emotion of it all…. we talked about what to do. We read all the different tooth fairy books. We did a social story about what would happen if she did put her tooth under her pillow and what would happen if she didn’t.
Anyway, that was WEEKS ago.
Then, out of the blue, she decided she wanted o out the teeth under her pillow. Much excitement (mainly from Flossy who quite likes the idea of money).
Just at the last moment, she changed her mind.
This morning she wrote a letter to the tooth fairy explaining.

Dear Tooth Fairy
I love my teeth and I don’t want to give them to you. Is that alright? Could you give some fairy dust to stop my teeth from rotting?
Love from Freya
PS
Don’t take the ribbon it’s mine
Not sure quite how the tooth fairy will respond, but I’ll keep you posted!
