When the weather is bad it is difficult to be camping. Wet clothes, wet children, small space and lots of ‘no’
The no’s come from mess, running, shouting, getting changed again (Felicity) and requests to do things in the rain….
When there is no way to wash or dry clothes it is so tempting to no let the girls into the wet… they wanted to jump in puddles, jump in the river, play in the rain, have a picnic….
After so many no’s we just said yes!
So, sandwiches, juice, veggies and crisps were eaten in recycled yoga mats under a sun umbrella in the rain.
We stayed in the awning and watched with amusement. They loved it!
