Daddy took the girls for a walk so that I could have a nap!
I know – he is my hero!
In my defense I had been up with Felicity until 1am as she couldn’t sleep following an impromptu nap in the day. Then at 5.20 she came and took my bed for the rest of the night… no, 4 hours sleep is apparently not enough!
Poor Nick, he didn’t know I had promised the girls we would do some painting on the river side when he made this gallant offer… I could almost see the joy fade from his eyes as he packed the water pots, brushes and watercolors in the rucksack!
Hmm… I may need to work on some brownie points at a later date!
Anyway… two full hours later I was awakened by some very excited girls, some beautiful artwork and these fabulous photos for the blog.
Well done all involved and zzzzzzzzz it was bliss!
